If only you could attend a videogame conference without leaving the comfort of your own home … but wait, you can! The Alternative Digital Arts Festival, which kicked off today, takes place entirely via live-stream. The schedule features panels about videogame criticism, poetry in games, gaming’s varied depictions of mental illness, and more. There are two live-streams happening concurrently, titled “ADAF” and “ADAF2” on Hitbox.
If panels aren’t your thing, you might be interested in the virtual game room schedule, featuring lots of indie gaming fare that you may not have heard about.
Full disclosure: I personally know all of the people who organize this event, but hey, don’t let that stop you.
